Comexposium USA launches Curve Connect September 13-25, the first digital trade event for the intimate apparel industry – www.curve-connect.com

A new virtual trade event, Curve Connect, will be open from Sunday September 13 until September 25. “Our priority over the past few months has been to keep the community connected beyond the show floor. In a time when people are separated from the ones they love and increasingly more isolated, we were able to connect the intimate apparel community remotely through our weekly webinar series covering a wide range of topics. Since April, we have broadcast 21 webinars, welcomed 72 different speakers and gathered an audience of more than 3000 people!” says Raphael Camp, CEO of Curve, the leading trade show organizer for the intimate apparel’s industry. “We wanted to continue and elevate the experience for both brands and buyers for 12 days and give enough time for people to attend our events and connect. As we cannot meet in person this year, we created a fully integrated digital platform. To date more than 60 brands and 1000 buyers are registered on Curve Connect! We produced more than 20 hours of original content, industry-related panels and webinars. The virtual event takes place from September 13 to 25, but the Curve Connect platform will be online until the end of the year!”, adds Camp.

Thanks to this exclusive partnership between Comexposium USA, and Grip, the award-winning event software, the very powerful AI matchmaking feature used will make shopping efficient & save one’s time. Curve buyers will be able to browse brands, preview lookbooks, make video appointments and RSVP for events! “Exhibitors using Grip saw a 41% increase in lead capture. Grip software uses Artificial Intelligence to enable trade show participants to connect with the right people efficiently. Many digital features will be available for Curve participants. The lingerie brands will organize 1:1 virtual meeting with new and existing specialty stores recommended for them. About the agenda of the conferences, Kirsten Griffin, Visitor Promotion Director at Curve, says “On Sunday 9/13 for the opening of the show, Sonja Winther from Chantelle and Guido Campello from Cosabella are hosting a conversation about Wearing a Mask: myths, facts, and why it’s fashion newest accessory? On Monday 9/14, Ellen Lewis will host the expected 4thIntimate chat with Retailers panel. Ellen will check back with the store owners she initially interviewed back in May during the first roundtable she hosted online with Curve. I know a lot of us want to hear about how Jenette, Liliana, Sonya, Jeanne, Susanne, Rebecca, Tana, Lisa and Danny are doing since Ellen interviewed them the first time.

Also, this time for Curve Connect, we partnered with a couple of leading brands, to provide some virtual training to specialty stores: on Wednesday 9/16 Freddy Zappe will host The Virtual Fit School for Elomi and on Thursday 9/17 Collen Ruby from Anita Care will present A Lingerie Fitters Guide to Addressing Breast Surgeries.” Griffin adds“Finally on Thursday 9/17 at 5pm one of the highlights of Curve Connect is going to be the ceremony of the NPD and Curve Excellence Awards. Along with our partner The NPD Group, we are going to celebrate the top performing brands and the star retailers. The heroes of our industry!
