CURVENEWYORK brings a special international brand section to the show floor this February – The German Pavillon. The section will be hosted by Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie – BMWi) and the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (Messeausschuss der Deutschen Wirtschaft e.V. – AUMA).

Why German Lingerie Brands?

The United States is the world’s largest market for swimwear and the second largest market for lingerie and nightwear, because of this it is one of the most important export markets for German clothing companies. The representatives of the German clothing sector state,” the joint presentation is a great opportunity to cultivate existing contacts in the USA and to make new ones”, says Silvia Jungbauer, Managing Director of the Confederation of the German Knitting Industries (GESAMTMASCHE).  GESAMTMASCHE represents the interests of German manufacturers of knitwear and lingerie at national and international level. The industry stands for annual sales of more than 4.5 billion euros.
