Trends of Curve NY & LA 2022 shows

Empowerment, Individuality, & Opulence. The buzz words for the Fall 2022 season. Buyers shopped 175 collections at the recent Curve NY & LA shows and enjoyed a multitude of choices from an international mix of designers. THE MIDAS TOUCHAdd some gold or embroidery to your fall merchandising mix. Lavish looks were plentiful & on full display. Opulent fabrications were made for going out, with a more is better the new fashion mantra.
RETRO ROMANTICAutumnal tones were prevalent with shades of molten lava red, year of the tiger orange, periwinkle purple & every shade of green (martini olive is our new favorite!). Textured lace takes its cue from nature with leaves, vines, & flowers throughout. New this season is Mens & transmasculine intimates in complimentary lace colors.
NIGHT MOVES Our burlesque performer was quite popular at the Curve show as she primped & posed in the latest boudoir inspired lingerie. Buyers could get the look with sultry sexy styles, peek a boo cut outs, straps galore, and of course garters to complete the ensembles.
EUPHORIA / Y2K OBSESSED The latest culture phenomenon had buyers taking note of 2 piece matching sets, midriff baring innerwear- as- outerwear tops, short slips, or candy-colored hues to satisfy the needs of their Gen Z shoppers.
HERE COMES THE BRIDE Vintage glamour remains popular with show stopping statement making styles prevalent. Corsetry, feather accents, & intricate embroidery will have brides saying “I do” this year.
PAJAMA GAME Prints reigned whether it be a classic liberty floral, whimsical animal ( horses, bears, or birds were most popular) or sophisticated stripes for the perfect stay at home wardrobe.
